The Standard Retractor Tool remains on the MM15,MM50 or FMM50 series retractable system, during the insertion and removal only. One tool can service many Accurate Retractable Systems. Easily operated by one person. The Standard Retractor Tool is used to retrieve or insert the insertion rod or shaft into a pressurized system. It Screws on the 3/4" NPT threads on top of the MM15,MM50, or FMM50 series retractable system. The handle is turned which moves the insertion rod or shaft either up or down. Since the Standard Retractor Tool directly attaches to the MM15,MM50, and FMM50 series retractable systems, no heavy service valve is required. It also weights less than 20 pounds. Other makes of retrieval tools for 36" insertion lenghts weight over 100 pounds including the service valve. The Standard Retractor Tool works in any position, vertical, horizontal or upside down. Since it works well upside down, insertion from the bottom of pipelines and vessels is easily done.
