The Special EXL Retractor Tool remains on the MM50EXL or FMM50EXL series retractable system, during the insertion and removal only. One tool can service many Accurate Retractable Systems. Easily operated by one person. The Special EXL Retractor Tool is used to retrieve or insert the insertion rod or shaft into a pressurized system. It Screws on the 3/4" NPT threads on top of the MM50EXL or FMM50EXL series retractable system. The insertion rod or shaft is then attached to the Special EXL Retractor Tool drawplate. He handle is turned which moves the drawplate either up or down. Designed to make insertion and removale under pressure safe, easy, and quick. The operator works at the side of the retractor tool and does not have to balance himself in a precarious positions. Since the Special EXL Retractor Tool directly attaches to the MM50EXL or FMM50EXL series retractable systems, no heavy service valve is required. It also weights less than 20 pounds. Other makes of retrieval tools for 36" insertion lenghts weight over 100 pounds including the service valve. The design and operating procedure of the Special EXL Retractor Tool allows simple and easy insertion of insertion rods or shafts to depths of 12 feet. It can easily reach most hard to monitor places. The Special EXL Retractor Tool is only 40" Long and is non telescoping. The Special EXL Retractor Tool can be operated in both standard ( up to 48") and extra long insertion depths (to 12’).
